Charis Linda Braun is an external doctoral candidate at the Chair of Economics of Horticulture and Landscaping at the Technical University Munich since 2017. Ms. Braun has been active since 2012 at the unit of Policy and Markets in the Agro-Food Sector at the University of Sustainable Development Eberswalde (HNEE) on several research projects related to agricultural diversification and local agri-food value chains. She is currently employed as a research assistant at HNEE.
Ms. Braun studied ‘Food Economics and Nutritional Sciences’ (BSc) at the University of Giessen and also holds a master’s degree in ‘Agricultural Management’ from HNEE in cooperation with the Humboldt University of Berlin.
Her doctoral research centers around cooperation within local organic vegetable supply chains. Charis Linda Braun’s work as a junior researcher is supported by the German Ministry of Education and Research through its Professorinnenprogramm.
